Speedy Scrolling Bar
Now here is a new faster way for you to view PDFs.
Tap the two arrows at the right edge of the screen. You will be able to drag through pages effectively.
Quickly jump to other pages
PDF Reader Pro supports viewing large files.
When you are viewing a file with numerous pages, tap "Jump to Page" at the lower right corner.
Enter the page number you want to view and you will be directly led to the target page:
Search keywords within a PDF file
If you want to search for a keyword within a PDF file, please tap "Text Search" at the menu.
Key in the keyword in the space and tap "Search".
The search result will be marked with yellow circles.
You can jump to other keywords or quit searching by tapping functions at the lower right menu.
Copy and paste text from a PDF file
PDF Reader Pro now allows user to copy text directly from a PDF file.
Tap the screen, hold for for 2 seconds, and you will see the pop-up menu.
Tap "Text Select" on the menu. Drag your finger on the screen to mark the text you want to include
Mark the text you want to copy with your finger and tap "Copy".
Then you can paste it anywhere you need (e.g. Notes).
Text Reflow
If you want to view a PDF file in text form, tap "Text Reflow" at the lower right corner menu.
You will see the PDF file displayed in text form.
Tap Settings, you can adjust fonts, font size, and also the speed of Autoscroll.
Tap Searching if you want to search for a word under the text reflow mode.
The searching result will be marked with highlight:
View password-protected PDF files
Password-protected PDF files are supported by PDF Reader Pro.
You can download password-protected PDF files through the built-in browser and read them by entering the correct password.
View/enable Thumbnail
Thumbnail can help you have a glance at the content of a PDF file.
Tap the book icon at the lower left corner and you will see the list of thumbnails.
A single tap on the target thumbnail will immediately lead you to the page.
Check outline (Table of Content) of a PDF file
To view the outline of a PDF file, please tap the book icon at the lower left corner
(only if the PDF file contains its outline).
Auto Flow
Want to concentrate on your reading? Auto Flow is the best helper.
This function can automatically help you scroll pages down without touching the screen.
You can find this feature at the lower right menu and tap it to lock/unlock the Auto Flow function.
In PDF Reader Pro's Settings, you can adjust Time Interval and Jump Space of Auto Flow.
Bounce Vertical/Horizontal
You can find this function at the lower right menu.
Tap it to lock/unlock horizontal scrolling.
By locking horizontal scrolling, you will only be able to drag pages vertically.
Tapping any corner of the Tap Zone will move the page vertically too.
Access iOS 5 dictionary/Google/Wikipedia searching
Tap and select the text you want to search in a PDF file.
You will see a pop-up menu. Tap "Search".
You can search what you just selected through the built-in dictionary (only for iOS 5 or later), Google, or Wikipedia.
