Files can not be recognized or the layout is out of shape

The file would be in specific format however the format cannot be recognized well by the viewing engine of iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad.

For MAC users: You can try to convert it with Mac Preview function and save it as another new file. It may help you to view the file on your device.

For PC users: You can use Acrobat Reader Pro to convert your file into a new one. It may help you to view the file.

The highlights within PDFs cannot not be displayed on my devise

It is related to compression type during PDF creations.

You can use JPEG vs JPEG2000 type to create it again or send us the file for testing..

PDFs can be read on other viewing softwares except my iPod Touch

PDF viewer engine needs certain amount of memory when opening and rendering a PDF file.
The memory of iPod Touch is less than on iPhone; therefore once a PDF file requires more memory than what an iPod Touch can afford, some problems may occur (such as crashing or unable to view that file).

As to this issue, we sincerely suggest that you convert your PDF files before viewing it on iPod Touch.

For Mac user, you can try to convert it with Mac Preview function and save it as another file, which may help to read it smoothly.

For PC user, you can use Acrobat Reader Pro to convert your file (open that PDF file and save it as a new one). Then transfer the file to your iPod Touch.

I did set the password for Private Folder but it doesn't work when I access it

Is PDF Reader Pro listed one of the resident programs on your device? For the convenience of the customers, if you set PDF Reader Pro as one of the resident programs, you’ll be able to access the Private Folder without re-entering password.

Therefore if you remove PDF Reader Pro from the list of resident program, you’ll have to enter the password every time when you want to view the Private Folder.

To change the setting of resident program, please see pictures in the attachments and follow the instructions below:

1. Two quick double press on the Home button of your device.

2. Find the icon of PDF Reader Pro; tap the icon and hold it for 2 to 3 seconds.

3. You’ll see a red sign appearing on each resident program; tap the one on PDF Reader Pro to remove it from the list (it WON’T remove PDF Reader Pro from your device).

http://192.168.1.12:8080 cannot be found or linked

It's probably because the local networks of your device and pc are different.

Please be sure that your mobile device is under the same local network as your PCs.

The first 3 parts of your mobile and PC IP address must be the same.

For example: PC: 192.168.1.X , Mobile Device: 192.168.1.X To check your IP address, please follow steps below:

For Windows user: type “ipconfig” in the terminal -

For Mac OS user: type “ifconfig” in Terminal.app If the IP addresses are different, we suggest that you link to your wireless ap.

Open safari and key in the IP address with port 8080 in your location field.

For example: 192.168.1.101:8080

Then, you will see the page on your browser.
